//THE PROJECT
HEM is a traditional manufacturer of Indian incenses. More than 100 fragrances are made by artisans and distributed to the whole world. Moussa Inc, official representative of the brand in Brazil, needed a hotsite to display a digital catalog of HEM products and to publish information about the story and benefits of each scent.
PopUp developed this site with vertical scrolling animations to make the content navigation easy, fast and dynamic. Different textures create the atmosphere of the layout: oriental patterns in black and red, subtle gradients, smoke textures... a game of colors and images to recall scents and create a synesthetic experience. In fact, every photo of the products package was given a custom background according to each incense's theme. All done with attention to the negative space and care to keep the aesthetical balance of the images. PopUp was responsible for the design, development of HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery animations.
